--Product Introduction--
Cinnamaldehyde is naturally present in cinnamon oil and is usually prepared by synthetic methods. It is a yellow highly refractive liquid that turns into a dark brown viscous liquid when exposed to light and air. It has a special aroma of cinnamon oil and a burnt aroma, slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol and ether, and insoluble in petroleum ether.
(1)Sterilization, disinfection, and anti-corrosion, especially with significant therapeutic effects on fungi, cinnamaldehyde is an antifungal active substance, mainly by disrupting the fungal cell wall, allowing drugs to penetrate into fungal cells, damaging organelles and exerting bactericidal effects;
(2)Anti ulcer, enhances gastric and intestinal motility;
(3)Lipolysis, antiviral, anticancer, mutagenic, and radiation resistant effects, it also has a hypotensive effect on adrenal cortical hypertension;
(4)Because cinnamaldehyde is not as affected by pH as sodium benzoate in its application, it has strong sterilization and disinfection functions for acidic or alkaline substances, and can also be widely used for anti-corrosion, mold prevention, and freshness preservation.
