DEGDB is a highly soluble benzoate plasticizer. As an alternative to ortho-phthalate plasticizers recommended by the European Union, it has excellent cost-effectiveness and is widely used as an environmentally friendly plasticizer in white latex, woodworking glue, plywood glue, paper packaging glue, PVC products (toys, elastic flooring, gloves, PVC dipped products, Textilene, water hoses, artificial leather, etc.), polyurethane elastomers, coatings, inks and other fields. This product is insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents. It is a good high-temperature solvent with good plasticizing properties. In the textile auxiliary industry, it is usually mixed with benzyl benzoate in a certain proportion and used as a dyeing agent, leveling agent, repair agent, etc. The comprehensive performance is basically the same as that of the widely used benzyl benzoate, but its solidification point is lower than that of benzyl benzoate, it is not easy to crystallize in winter, and it is more convenient to use. At the same time, the residual odor of the fabric after dyeing and finishing is much lower than that of benzyl benzoate.

(1)High solubility and low gelatinization temperature. Compared with dioctyl phthalate (DOP), it has a lower processing temperature and faster processing speed during PVC processing. In the finished product, it has good migration resistance, extraction resistance, low-temperature flexibility, and light and heat stability;
(2)It has excellent compatibility with vinyl acetate monomer and copolymer emulsions, has excellent plasticizing effect in water-based adhesives, and has a low VOC content.
